No details of the affair were given but it is presumed he met death, while engaged in his regular employment as a builder. The young man was in between Milford and Frisco. A number of Forest Reserve offi cials spent several days on. the local forest ,the latter part of the week. Inspector Stewart, made a very examination of the young trees that were planted fn 1914, and found that about 25 per cent Of tie 160,000 Western Yellow Spruce that were planted on the local forest hacUsy perished. He was well pleased witn the condition of the trees that bad survived, many of these being now six to seven feet high. An annual growth of about twelve to fourteen inches is being made by the majority of the young trees. It was also not- ed that the trees planted out in the open were more thrifty than those in V the shade. According to the officials the Mt. ' Nebo trail is going to have some at- tention this season and several improvements will be made it is said. They came from the orchard of T. W. Vickers, who this year has one of the biggest crops of cherries that his orchard has yet produced. Air. Vickers has three varieties, the red black and white cherries.
