Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR WM. L. HOFFMAN Directed by the First ard Bishopric, funeral rites lor Wm. L. Hoffman were conducted Sunday Sun-day afternon at 3:30 o'clock in the First Ward L. D. S. Chapel, with Bishop Junius A. West, in charge. The services opened with the ward choir sining "I Need Thee Every Hour, directed by Frank Wanlass, and accompanied by i-wim Jensen. Elvin Thorne of the Ward Bishopric Bish-opric offered the invocation. The first speaker was Gotlieb Buhler, a near neighbor, who after commenting on the love and neigh-borliness neigh-borliness of the Hoffman family and his own, stressed the importance import-ance of temple work. Thos. A. King, former president of the Garfield Stake was the next speaker, and told of his year's of acquaintance with the Hoffman family, who formerly lived in that part of Utah, and of their wonderful wonder-ful hospitality and love fore this misionaries. Bishop West made the closing remarks and expresed appreciation for the family. Musical numbers included an organ solo, "0 My Father" by Irwin Ir-win Jensen; a vocal duet, "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope" "by Mrs. Alta Walker and "Mrs. Berniece Christensen, accompanied ac-companied by Mr. Jensen. The closing number "Shall We Meet Beyond The Rive" "by the choir. Benediction was pronounced by J. L. Adams and the dedicatory prayer at the grave in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Cemetery was offered by Bishon Jesse K. Thorne. Pallbearers were Farril Hoffman. Hoff-man. Harold Hoffman. Ted Foun-tin.
