The (W Granite School District Board of Education is considering a new for new $4,000,000 bond issue school construction. The issue was discussed at a meeting last night. It would carry the building program through 1959 without another bonding. Supt. Elmer J. Hartvigsen said two junior high schools are near the top of the district's priority list. He explained the new bonding would be legal even though the district bonded to the maximum 10 per cent of its valuation last February. He said since that time valuation rose from to $16,000,000 so with $1,000,000 bonded indebtedness paid off in January, 1958, and another $1,000,000 the next January the new valuation plus anticipated increases in valuation would allow the $4, 000, 000 bond. No action was taken on the proposal. 6-- 9 P.IVI. 9 P.M. Fre-.no- best at Recent Callers Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Westerberg were Mrs. Edith Seamens and her two daughters.
