Show Closing Relief Society Social In Perry ' Honors Mothers And Daughters Of The Ward The Perry ward Relief society held a closing social honoring mothers and daughters on Tuesday, May 29. In the Perry ward hall under the direction of Iva Lou Nebeker, president. Meeting opened with invocation by Mrs. Bertha Wight. A pageant, The Royal " was presented with Mrs. fva, A. Young as reader, Mrs. Louise Davis as and Mrs. Hazel Allen,accompanist Mrs. Florence Wight, Gay Nebeker, Connie Wagstaff and Kathy Nelson singing during the presentation. The pageant followed the mother from infancy until 6he became a grandmother. Scene one was presented by Kindergarten children. Scene two, Make Believe Age, represented the eight year old child. Scene three was entitled School followed by Days, scene four representing the teen agers. Scene five 'pictured Mrs. Barbara Hirschi as the bride in her wedding gown with Evelyn Wight and Lynda Hirschi as flower girls. Oh Promise Me was the song sung during this scene. Mrs. Joyce Mathews, representing mother with her first child was depicted in scene six. Mighty Like A Rose was sung. Mrs. Norma Bott, with her four daughters around her was in scene seven. Scene eight, the final scene, showed the grandmother, Mrs. Annie Mathews, with her grandchildren while That Wonder-fu- l Mother of Mine was sung. Nelson will return Jto Walter Reed hospital, .Anmy Medical Center, Washington, D. C. where he has been stationed since he volunteered for army service last January.
