The daughter of William V. and Madeleine S. Wilson, Margaret was a resident of Fillmore until 1977. She Our Town Fillmore By Stella Day Isnt it strange how much our ideals change as we grow older? I remember when I was about eight years old my mother had a dressmaking class; in fact she taught dressmaking for many years when she was first married. I used to see these beautiful silk dresses with beading and ornate 1 trimmings on them and I thought, When whole have I closet a am to rich, going gel full of beautiful silk dresses. When I First went to the University of Utah and heard such beautiful music, for the First time, since all of the worlds most famous musicians came to Salt Lake City, but never to any other city in Utah, I used to think, When I get rich, 1 want to live where I can always hear the greatest musicians in the world any time choose. My ideals have changed every so often, but there have been many changes, and each time the change was little related to the ideal life I though about before. Now that am so lame think, "If I could just walk I gracefully all of the time, I wouldn't care if never had any beautiful clothes." We have to lose some of our precious possessions, such as our good health, to realize that we possessed the riches of the world when we had our health, but we did not appreciate 1 1 1 attended Fillmore Elementary School until her family moved to California in 1978. She is now a Sophomore at Indio High School. Job's Daughters is a Masonically affiliated order of teenage girls. This fraternal order is dedicated to education, The charities, and , l5ecember installation is the Bethel's seventy-fourt- histories of each pioneer and even many histories of the early settlers who came lo Utah after the allotted time for being called a Pioneer. The official time is May 1869. However, many histories are written about the native pioneers, which often record incidences w hich happened much later. You see, the railroad came to Utah; however, it had few branches into parts of the state until many years later, and many of the towns in Utah were still living in pioneer times. They did not have water systems nor electric lights until 50 years after the first pioneers arrived in Utah. As we get older, we learn to appreciate the real worth of those who spend their time helping those who really need their help. Although I never did get rich, I feel that I have had a wonderful life, for I have learned to appreciate those w ho really make hlesery worthwhile. Besides Job's Daughters, Margaret is active in California Cadet Corps. She is that organization currently Captain sponsored in part by the California National Guard.
