Show Another Widow Bobs Up. San Francisco, May 6. Two suits have been filed against the estate of Julius L. Franklin, a lottery agent and former fur trader in the northwest, north-west, on behalf of an alleged Indian widow and her children. She is said to have been the 15-year-old daughter of an Indian chief, dwelling in the vi-cinitv vi-cinitv of Fort Douglas, when Franklin met and married her, in 1860. Pauline Franklin, Franklin's widow, in this city, is made the chief defendant to the suit, along with her children. The property involved is valued at 8300,000. |
