Thfi evening on his horse, on his return, complained of a severe pain in his right lower limb, and was confined to his bed with a fever, and increasing paih in the limb, Mr. McPherson thinking that it was rheumatism, did not become alarmed until Sunday when the boy grew worse. Dr. Miner was summoned in consultation, but both physicians were puzzled; and the boy died Tuesday morning at one p. m. The deceased was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. McPherson, and they are prostrate with grief at the sudden and unexpected death. He was a manly fellow, and was of great assistance to his parents in assuming the of the farm work. He was a good student in school, and loved by all his mates. The sympathy of the entire community g mi out to the bereaved parents on this sad occasion. Later, on a more careful examination it is learned that he received a bruise on his limb which started an infection that poisoned his whole body.
