Donkey Softball Game Slated by Jaycees There will be a Donkey Softball game Sunday June 14 at Pony League Field The game will start at pm p.m. J Jaycees vs the Quarterback Club There will be five In Innings innings in in- which will be played by the following rules 1 Every 1 Every player rides a donkey don key except the pitcher and catcher who are confined to the area laid out In rope 2 The 2 The batter hits the ball then mounts the e donkey that thatis is waiting for lor him and at attempts ate at tempts to round the bases Over the fence Is Js out 3 The 3 The batter can not out He must ride a donkey After three strikes he uses a shovel 4 4 The basemen and outfielders out out- fielders are allowed to ride pull or push their donkeys to where here the ball Is but must be mounted to put the ball ballIn ballin ballin In play If not the base runners runners runners run run- ners will be declared safe Basemen must be mounted before tagging player 5 5 A base runner must have at least one of his donkeys donkey's feet on the base to be declared ed safe 6 6 If a base runner Is caught between bases the opposing team must remain mounted close dose In and to touch ch the player with the ball baU 7 1 It If a base runner Is with within in 10 feet of any base he ha is allowed to dismount and pull his donkey 8 8 The game will consist of 01 5 innings or approximately one hour time limit If you saw the football game last fall between the Jaycees and the Quarterback Club then you know there there- will be thrills chills spills fun and laughs All kids 15 and under get free tickets at your local merchants merchants merchants mer- mer mer mer- chants displaying the posters Bring Mom Dad and the whole family to the funniest show how on earth Adults only
