Gray of n) K earns have just returned from New York where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Gray of Moriah Center. Members include top row, I. to r, Monty Warburton, Lindsey Warburton and Kelly Bottom row, I. to r., Hoss Savol, Amy Warburton, April Warburton and Curly Warburton. lnJar5MQri(0)Ssio?Gruorryi Saratoga's third annual Bluegrass Banjo and Fiddle Contest is slated for Labor Day weekend, this coming Saturday and Sunday. Guest bands will include the Warburton family. Members of the Warburton family ing clude Monty on the banjo; Lindsey and his Mandolin, and Kelly on the guitar. Amy plays the tamborine and April wields the bass fiddle. Curly plays guitar. Curly is the son of Laura Warburton of Lehi and the other musicians are her grandchildren. The only member of five-strin- Savol who plays the Dobro. Other guest bands at the Bluegrass Banjo and Fiddle Contest are: Cottonwood, Wild Hickory Nuts, Sage Grass, Stormy Mountain Boys, and Smith Brothers Dirt Band. Prizes will be award in traditional and bluegrass fiddle; traditional and bluegrass banjo; in bluegrass band and in guitar flatpicking. Scheduled are all night jam sessions with an open microphone to all. Camping is available, and those interested in attending the banjo and fiddle-even- t are advised to bring lawn chairs. Lehi Swingers Begin Dances The Lehi Swingers Square Dances will begin on Saturday, September 10, at 7 p.m. at the Sego Lily School. Round dancing will be taught at 7:00 p.m. and the regular dancing will begin at 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Old and new alike are urged to come out and join the fun.
