School Youth Problems Discussed Before Parents At Family Life Conference The two-day Family Life conference con-ference held Thursday and Friday Fri-day In the American Fork high school was attended by 500 parents par-ents and teachers, as well as about 800 students of the Junior and senior high schools. Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock an assembly of the junior high students opened the conference. "Ornwins Ud" was the theme oi t.he mppt.incr and Mrs. Donna Ash proved herself as understanding the problems besetting tne youin of today. , At 2 o'clock Mrs. Ash continued with a discussion on problems of adolescence, "juvenile aeiin "fyiFLOUIEIIS quency starts at 9 years of age. . . Unemployment, broken homes, Idleness, no education, too much spending money, too much leisure time", said Mrs. Ash, were among the contributing factors that led to confinement in the state penai institution, according to the word of prisoners.
