Show PftSIER SUIT TAKEN ' 1 UNDER ADVISEMENT The entire time of Judge Morse waa taken up yesterday in listening to argument ar-gument on the demurrer In the case : of the State of Utah ex reL Thomas ' Homer against Salt Lake City and the ' Utah Light and Railway company. Judge LeGrand Young opened the argument Jn behalf of the .'railway v company. Judge Young held that Mr. Homer had no authority to bring the action, as it should have been brought by the Attorney-General if at alL City Attorney Hlles followed in be-... be-... half of the city. Judge Hlles held that f. the city had no pecuniary or property tT interest at stake, and that the courts had no right to interfere with the actions ac-tions of the City Council when It sits as a legislative body.
