game against UVSC the Eagles were not able to overtake the undefeated team UVSC had an excellent defense They anticipated the actions of the Eagles which placed them with an advantage during the game The loss was frustrating for Bianco who felt the team did not play well on that particular road trip Coming out of the UVSCCEU game with an average of 65 points and 46 rebounds CEU lost their second consecutive game by 37 points Hatch led the team with 14 points Hawks 12 Elison 7 Allen and King 6 Heusser 5 Liana Snuka 2 and McKay I Rebounds were headed by Hawks 7 King 6 Allen with Hatch 5 McKay 4 CEU had successfully shot over 35 percent during the game they probably would have won The team was struggling with their shooting agamst Dixie This was probably the leading cause of the Eagle's defeat This was not the first time the Eagles had a low percentage of shooting against Dixie The last time the Eagles and Rebels battled on the court the Eagles shot less than 30 percent which happened to be the same scenario this past weekend Even though the Eagles were not shooting to the best of their performance they were able to remain strong in the ureas of defense rebounds and assists At the half Dixie was straggling to lead CEU by But with a low 9 five points average of 57 points and 51 rebounds CEU was not able to overtake Dixie who won by a mere nine points 1 1 24-2- Be
