Teens with A's on their report cards will have the chance to win a Si ,000 scholarship savings account through Zions Bank's new community program, "Zions Pays for A's." Zions Bank's 'Pays for A's" progtam rewards hardworking students in middle school, junior high, and high school for their scholastic success. Each time students receive an official report card for the 2003-200- 4 school year, they may take it to any Zions Bank location. A bank employee will check the report card for at least one "A" grade, then will give the student a voucher for a free ticket to select Utah Jazz games and a gift certificate for a free Viva Slam milk drink donated by Meadow Gold. "At Zions Bank, we understand that it takes community' support to foster successful futures for our young people. That's why we want to help local teachers and parents in their efforts to encourage teens to do then very best in school," said Scott Anderson, Zions Bank's president and CEO. "The new 'Zions Pays for A's' program will provide added incentive for students to excel academically." For every "A" grade on their report cards, students will receive an entry form for prize draw ings. In January and May, one stu- dent entry from each of Zions Bank's 14 geographic regions will be selected to win a S 150 Zooner Saturday Pre registration is required.
