Singling in Zach Hicken in the top of the third, Mitch Merrill touched off a three-run rally for Pleasant Grove. Even though an Al Fife, one-run single moved Jordan within 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Harmon doubled in a run in the fourth to set off a three-run three-run rally. After Jordan had puiled within 7-5 in the fourth, Harmon hit his grand slam in the fifth to complete his work of destruction against the Beet-diggers. Beet-diggers. Viking Parker Bullock's Bull-ock's seventh-inning sacrifice groundout brought Merrill in for an insurance run. Pitcher Colton Sheriff kept the Beetdiggers from scoring more than one run in the bottom of the seventh. |
