Jaussi announce an-nounce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jean Jaussi, to Jeremy Alan King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis V. King of Santa Clarita, Calif. The couple will be married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on Saturday, Aug. 15. They will be honored during a reception that same night in California. The bride-elect is a 1991 graduate of Uintah High School where she was an honor student and salutatori-an salutatori-an of her graduating class. During the past year she has been attending Brigham Young University. Jeremy is a 1989 graduate of Canyon High School. He served a two year mission in the Argentina, Bahia Blanca mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is currently a pre-med student at BYU. The couple will make their home in Provo where they will continue their education. IK MitS'- Diane Faulk and John Harris Faulk and Harris set ivedding date for August 1 4 Diane Faulk and John Harris have set Friday, Aug. 14 to be married at the Edgcwood Reception Center in Ogdcn. Diane is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Faulk of Ogdcn and John is the son of Elna Harris of Vernal and the late J.W. (Frosty) Harris. The couple will be honored at a reception immediately following their wedding at 7 p.m., also at the Edgcwood Reception Center. The bride-elect is a graduate of Ogdcn High School and is currently employed in Ogdcn. The prospective prospec-tive groom graduated from Uintah High School and attended one year at Utah Valley Community College in Orem. He is employed as a dicsel mechanic at Lund Auto in Salt Lake City. Following their wedding, the couple cou-ple will make their home in Ogdcn. Portraits! VERNAL Richens and Murray exchange July ivedding vows Olson and Figueiredo marry in Salt Lake City Mandey Richens and Jed Murray exchanged vows during a ceremony on July 18 at the VernalUintah Stake Center. The ceremony was officiated of-ficiated by Bishop Larry Peterson. The bride is the daughter of Steve and MaraLee Richens. She wore a beautiful full length dress made of white satin with lace overlay and a white satin ribbon. A high collar band topped off the lace applique over a V-neck line in both the front and back. The sheer lace sleeves were accented with lace and satin ribbon at the cuff. A large white satin bow, pearl buttons and three tiers of white lace down the back of the dress finished it off. The groom, son of Dcz and Carol Murray, wore a black tuxedo with a short coat and a black cummerbund. His groomsmen also wore black tuxedos with short tails and peach cummerbunds. The ring bearer wore a black long tail tuxedo with a peach cummerbund. The bride's bouquet was made of mint green roses and peach carnations. Other groomsmen were Jody Jackson, Ben Murray, a brother of the groom, and Kole Westwood. The ring bearer was Lynn Richens, two-year-old brother to the bride. Jessica Fulkerson sat at the guest book. Lorn and Cindy Ruppe assisted assist-ed in the kitchen with the help of Annie Burfitt and Tcrria Camp. Cami Magee, Terry Camp and Dana Burfitt organized the gifts. A wedding shower was given by Cortney Richens, Michelle Baird and Jessica Fulkerson. Following a honeymoon in Yellowstone, the couple will make their home in Vernal. Newborns On Aug. 4, 1992, a son was born to Carol Ann and Manuel R. Sisneros. He weighed 6 lbs. and will be named Jacob James Sisneros. On Aug. 6, 1992, a daughter was born to Pao Chih Kao and Yim Chong Kwan. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. On Aug. 8, 1992, a daughter was bom to Tcri and Reggie Horton. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and will be named Jennie Danielle Horton. On Aug. 9, 1992, a daughter was born to Stephanie Jewell and Boedy Jay Martinson. Olson, and Helmer Feitosa Figueiredo, son of Jose and Januisa Feitosa Figueiredo of Aracaju', Brazil, were married June 20 in Salt Lake City. A buffet wedding dinner and reception was held that evening at the Liberty Stake Second Ward in Salt Lake City. They were the guests of honor at a reception on June 26 in the Manila Ward cultural hall. Decorations included in-cluded table centerpieces of miniature minia-ture lace umbrellas decorated with silk flowers, ribbon and bows and many various floral bouquets and arrangements and green leafy trees. The bride chose blush pink, white and burgundy as her color scheme. The bride was dressed in a full length white slipper satin dress made by her mother. Its bodice was white embroidered lace overlay with beaded rose appliques, trimmed in sequins, along the high neckline and front and back diamond dia-mond shaped openings and along the drop waistline in front and back. The upper train was lace overlayed edge with embroidered lace rose appliques. ap-pliques. The full skirt featured beaded lace appliques in front and flowed to a long train in back, all edged in the matching rose appliques. ap-pliques. The back of the dress and lower sleeves featured a bride's loop closure of 104 pearl buttons. She wore a four-tiered scalloped veil. Her maid of honor, Sayde Feitosa Figueiredo, and bride's maids, Natalie and Tammy Olson were dressed in knee-length pink satin dresses with a lace bodice overlay, accented by matching floral beaded rose aonliques. The groom wore a white tuxedo with a burgandy tie and cummerbund. cummer-bund. His best man and ushers were Victor Hugo Cuba, Mike and Daniel J. Olson. The bride decorated her own wedding wed-ding cake which had three tiers. On top was a white ceramic figurine of a couple inside a gazebo decorated with net and ribbon and irredescent bead streamers. Pink silk flowers cascaded down the cake which featured fea-tured scalloped irredescent beaded trim on each layer. Mrs. Harold Rayburn, Mrs. Gilbert Olson, Mrs. Roger Olson, Mrs. George Ellsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Coleman assisted in the kitchen. Servers were Mindi Olson, SaraLee Olson, Shiloh Smith, Jennifer Jarvie, Meg Dawson and Jamie Ellis. The flower girl was Melissa Marie Olson, the bride's sister, and the rings were carried by Dallin Amie Olson, her brother. The gift bearers were Dennis and Dallin Olson with Mrs. Claire Reed at the gift table. Out of town guests included family fami-ly and friends from Nevada, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, California and Utah. 5s i 1.
