900000 Thats What The Directors Offer for the Coming Fair WILL YOU RAISE IT Earnest Preparations and Preliminaries for the Coming Exhibition Exhibi-tion An enthusiastic meeting of the directors of the Deserot Agricultural and Manufacturing Manufac-turing society was held last night at the State bank President C P Mason in the chair and the roll showing the following named to be present W H Rowe J M Langsdorf N A Empey Herman Bam berger John D Peters Moroni Thomas H M Wells Fuller Young and fifty others asked the society to remove the fence around the east half of the Tenth ward square Executive Ex-ecutive committee The special offer of C E Johnson of a gold medal for the prettiest girl at the fair was read and accepted The bond of H T Duke treasurer for 10000 was approved Mr Bamberger chairman on printing recommended that tho premium list this year be clean from advertisements Ou motion of Mr Wells the report was adopted and the printing committee was authorized to advertise for bids for the I printing of 10000 books the printing to be let to thb lowest responsible bidder Mr Wells moved that secretary be instructed in-structed to draft a petition to the city I council asking that it pave the sidewalk surrounding the Exposition building Carried Mr Peters from tho committee on premiums pre-miums presented a report with suggestions for premiums for the coming fair It offered of-fered premiums to the extent of 9000 being be-ing about 2000 above theoffer for 1891 The report was adopted On motion of Mr Wells tho secretary was instructed to form a letter to the business bus-iness men and residents generally asking I for special premiums from them that same might be entered upon the premium list I The secretary was instructed to again communicate with the governor asking an appointment in place of E B Wicks who failed to qualify It was decided that a dog show be provided pro-vided and a complete premium list be published i pub-lished and Major Levys aid was suggested in Adjourned perfecting plans for a fine exhibit I
