Show r Former Resident nt Dies at at- Vet Hospital WILL VILL BE BROUGHT HERE ERE FOR FOR- FUNERAL FOR FUNERAL BURIAL Richard Cluff Peterson na native native native na- na tive and former Manti 1 resident died in the Salt Lake Veterans hospital of a heart ailment on Tuesday afternoon He lie had been heen seriously ill for a month Mr Peterson was a veteran of World War ar I when he served in the Signal Corps He was employed by the Manti ManU Telephone Telephone Telephone Tele Tele- phone Company for 13 years and was a stockholder and manager manager manager man man- ager of the company for part of that time He left the company company company com com- pany to move to Tooele in 1950 0 and had been employed as a lineman at the Tooele Ordnance Depot He was born in Manti June 30 1889 a son of Hans and Maria laria Henningson Peterson He married Grace Dean Baker in Fairfield Iowa October 31 1918 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti ManU temple Survivors include his widow Tooele a n son Richard Glen Salt Lake City two daughters Mrs 1 Harold Dorothy Beckstrand Beckstrand Beckstrand Beck- Beck strand Newport Oregon and Mrs 1 Glen Betty Ann Flitton Salt SaIt Lake City seven grandchildren grandchildren grandchildren grand grand- children two sisters Mrs Kate Childs Orangeville and Mrs 1 Geneva Esklund Scipio and three brothers Parley Peterson Manti Frank Peterson Murray and Rudolph Peterson Los Angeles An An- geles Funeral services will be held in the Manti South ward chapel at 2 p. p m. m Saturday Friends may call at the Buchanan Mortuary Mortuary Mortuary Mor Mor- p prior r l' i o 0 r l' to the funeral Military rites and burial will wilI follow follo in the Manti Cemetery |
