Show Funeral Services Held for Cleve Gregory, 38 Funeral services were held on Tuesday for Cleve Freemont Gregory, 38. at 2 p m. in the First ward chapel. Bishop Henry P. Dotson officiated at the services. Speakers at the services were Parson U. Webster and Samuel F. Leigh. Invocation was by C. William Macfarlane, benediction by E. B. Dalley, and the dedi-catory dedi-catory prayer by H. H. Lunt. The musical program included includ-ed a cello solo by Miss Marion Bradshaw, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Christie Bradshaw, and two vocal duets, "In The Garden", and "Perfect Day", by Ray Cosslett and Myles Walker, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leleh. Mr. Gregory died at his home in Cedar early Sunday morning following an extended illness re-suiting re-suiting from a heart ailment. He was a former bee inspector for Iron county and also had been an employee of the Utah State Road department. He also operated the old Gregory swim-ming swim-ming pool and did repairs on watches, radios and machinery. Mr. Gregory was born in Cedar Ce-dar Citv on Julv 29. 1911. a son of John Charles Freemont and Edith Walker Gregory. He at-tended at-tended Cedar public schools and the Branch Agricultural college Survivors are his mother of Cedar City, and one brother, Ar thur C. Gregory of Ogden. Burial was in the Cedar City cemetery under the direction of the Jensen moruary. |
