Show FEW CHANGES IN FOURTH City Council Completes the Canvass of the Fourth Municipal Ward and Will Finish Tonight Thlll City Council last l night canvassed the elections returns of thn Fourth ward from Districts 37 to 13 Inclusive without encountering any more Important changes There were In fact no changes whatever of the totals returned by the Judges of election elec-tion although there were a few changes from the unofficial returns nn given to tho newspapers The largest of thcno wro In District 37 whore John S Critch low gained 30 votes over the published rc turns and In 1 13 where Hartensteln for Councilman loci 38 votes leaving bin majority ma-jority 30 instead of 72 The othor changes are of ono and two votes only for any oaf candidate and nono has any effect upon the result rims judges In the Fortyllrst district forgot to return their officialrog Isler and the poll book and regIster of tho Fortieth wore not properly nlgncd and certified to hut both precincts woro paused wtlhout refcrcnro to the Irrcffii larltleii except time stipulation that the register of the Fortytlrat would be secured se-cured and compared wtlh tho poll book at a oubcoquont session The Council took a recess until 70 oclock tonight when It expects to complete com-plete Its work an a canvassing board |
