One of the big attractions of the Alhambra has been tho excellent musical mu-sical programs given on the big Kimball Kim-ball organ by Prof. S. T. Whitakcr and Mrs. I.ee Rue Lammers. These are selected very carefully to fit every foot of film. Generally It Is easy to select popular music but to provide musical entertainment that Joins In perfect synchronism with the play is difficult' requiring special effort and work. On several 'occasions he has visited the school, talking lo the children about motion j pictures Students of the State school for tho deaf and blind have always been admitted free of charge, as have also 'be children of the Martha Day nursery. Manager Skinner has always been liberal with use of the theater stage equipment for public and semi-public semi-public enterprise. Including those of wards and schools, all of these having added to the theater's popularity with I igden people, popularity that is reflected re-flected hv the large attendance as the theater reaches its sixth birthday anniversary. |
