Mr S: Mrs Alvin Sharp of Rigby, Ida., spent Thursday and Friday of last week with relatives here. They attended the wedding of a niece, Marilee Swenson, to James Withers. Mr & Mrs Hans Jensen and dauat ghter Afton spent the week-enMesa Verde park in Colorado. Mr Si Mrs Rex Lybbert (Marilyn Jensen) left recently for Moses Lake, Wash., to make their home. Mr Lybbert will teach at the junior high school there this year. Alma Boyd Jensen, son of Bishop & Mrs Orson W Jensen, will be honored at a farewell testimonial Sunday at 5:30 p m in the East Midvale First ward chapel, prior to leaving for the Northern California mission. While there they visited with Mr & Mrs DeVere Miner and family. Sheryl and Kent Ashman spent the week-enin Provo with Mr & Mrs Richard Rawson. Mr k Mrs Earl D Evans joined other members of the Ute Rangers and spent Saturday and Sunday at Richfield, where they partcipated in a parade and drill exhibition. Miss Marilee Swenson, daughter of Mr St Mrs Irven A Swenson, and Gerald J Withers, son of Mr & Mrs Leland Withers of Riverton, were married Sept. 2 in the Salt Lake temple, with Pres. Raymond H. Clayton officiating. A reception in their honor was held that evening in the East Midvale Second ward chapel. The bride's attendants were her sister, Sharon; maid of honor and bridesmaids were Joan Millerberg, Iris Withers and June Soder-berg- . LeRoy Withers was best man for his brother. Jolene returned to Midvale with her grandmother and is visiting here awaiting the arrival of her parents, who are expected here sometime next week.
