Funeral services ser-vices over the mortal remains of Mrs. Kllabcth Ashcraft were held In the Hyde Park halt Tuesday tho 18 Inst. The- hall was well tilled with relatives and friends. Mrs. Ashcraft was tho mother of fourteen four-teen children, ten daughters and four sons Six daughters and four sons survive her. About fourteen years ago she became converted to the doctrines doc-trines taught by the Latter-day Saints, and left her comfortable home and friends In Indiana and came to this town where she has resided over since She has always been an honest and Industrious woman, charitable and Kind to tho poor, cheerful In affliction af-fliction and always had a kind word for everyone sho met. Another male passenger arrived on the stork Hue Monday and found accommodations ac-commodations at the homo of our respected re-spected townsman, (icorge Ivirbv. Mother and child are doing tine, and fleorge greets his friends with a forty cent smile. Tho groom followed tho lead of some of tho other recently married couples and gave an Invitation to all who desired to dance a chance to do so, at tils expense. We wish them a long and happy life, and may their cup of happiness ever bo full, In harmony together up tho hill of life's pull. Howaul Grant Is slowly lecoverlng and we hope to soon see him around again. Mrs. Laura Alstrom, of Smithficld, N confined to her nod with typhoid fever, at tho home of her parents, Mr. and Mis William Cook. Mrs. Jean Lundtpiist was taken 111 ono day last week. Dr. Smith, of Smlthllcld, attended her and she Is now getting along tine. |
