( letters to y the editor J Contributions sought for needy families Editor: It is our intention as the community com-munity service volunteers of North Utah County to implement this organization here in Pleasant Grove for the purpose of receiving and disbursing items of food, clothing, toys and other items for the needy families in this area. We welcome volunteers and invite suggestions that may make life a little easier for the needy of our area. We are asking for contributions of any nature in our efforts. The past summer we have distributed many items of garden stuffs and assisted in areas that have made life a little easier. Christmas is an extremely hard time for those whose pride keeps them from doing what they no longer or temporarily cannot do. We want to share with you the joy of giving to those in our own backyard.
