Show MOROXI Miss Crace Kelson of Ephraim was the guest of Mrs. Ed. Bradley last week. Miss Thelma Simpson returned home from Payson last week, where she has been visiting for the past few weeks. Mrs. Frank Bradley and little daughters, LaUue and Frankie, of Salt Lake are visiting friends and relatives in this city. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Anderson have returned to Moroni. Mr. Anderson will teach in the Moroni High School the coming year. Leo Bardsley of Salt Lake was the g'uest of Roumania Anderson last week. Clarence Tennyson of Salt Lake was the guest of Melba Christensen last week. Miss Nyda Hales of Richfield has been employd and is now clerking in the Moroni Co-op store. The children of Jchn Blackham tendered him a very pleasant surprise sur-prise last Wednesday, the occasion being in memory of his birth. Those present were Mr, and Mrs. Thomas Morley of Manti, Mr. and Mrs. Ike J Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Lew Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Irons and the Misses Van-orma Van-orma and Doris Blackham and Miss Nyda Hales. Miss Ella Nelson and Winnie Christensen returned from a two week's visit at Nephi Tuesday. Miss Margaret Draper entertained at a slumber party Saturday night and Miss- Ruth Fa3x entertained the same girls at a slumber party Thursday Thurs-day night. Those present were the Misses Ruth Faux, Margaret Draper, Fay Faux, Ina Morley, Ineselle Ca-hoon Ca-hoon and Leora Christensen. Miss Emma -Fehring of Salt Lake is the guest of Miss Ethel Olson. Miss Ethel Olson was the honored guest at a delightful party given at her home Tuesday afternoon. The color scheme was followed out in pink and green. Vases of mid-summer flowers graced the table and at 4 o'clock dinner was served to the Misses Emma Fehring of Salt Lake, j Cora Simpson, Amanda, Madalinej and Ethel Olson and the Messrs, Vic Bicbushi of Salt Lake, Elgen Mellor, -.Mr. and Mrs. Bent Olson and Mr. I and Mrs. Ed Bradley. Miss Mildred Irons entertained at. a delightful social Sunday afternoon! for the Misses Pernella Larsen, Nyda Hales, Doris Blackham and Mary Faux. Mrs. C. W. Jensen entertained at a kensington Thursday afternoon. Dainty refreshments were served to Mrs. Dan Nelson, Mrs. Joseph L. Jol-ley, Jol-ley, Mrs. Irvin Gee, Mrs. Andrew E. Jensen, Mrs. Andreas Jensen, Mrs. Adrew Jensen, Mrs. Ephraim Nelson and the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. C. Riley and Mrs. William Prestwitch motored from Payson Saturday and spent Sunday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Riley returned the following Monday. The proceeds of the picture show were given for the benefit of the Red Cross Tuesday night. The amount cleared was $52.25. Mr. and Mrs, B. L. Parker have a fine baby girl. |
