Show Biandy QJufe 6 Cab Try this tasty yule cake for entertaining holiday guests. IV2 cups almonds, blanched or unblanched IV2 cups walnuts 8 oz. pitted whole fresh dates 1 c. drained maraschino cherries cup chopped candied orange peels 2 cup seedless raisins 34 cup all purpose flour 34 cup sugar ' a tsp. baking powder V2 tsp. salt 3 eggs, beaten Brandy Mix first six ingredients in large bowl. Sift dry ingredients over fruit and nuts and mix well. Mix eggs and 1 tablespoon Brandy and add to fruits and nuts. Mix well. Grease a 9 in. x 5 in. x 3 in. loaf pan and line with waxed paper. Grease paper and press mixture into pan. Bake in slow (300) over about 1 hr. and 45 min. Cool in pans on rack for 10 minutes then turn out on rack and peel off paper.
