Ancient American scriptures explain that such signs and words were an intimate part of the secret conspiracies headed by Gadianton, and other ...they did have their signs, yea, their secret signs, and their secret words.... We need it like we need a bullet in the 0 BIGGEST ROBBERY IN HISTORY Swasey Adv. head! The Gatewav0 Amendment is to Warner change our state constitution. A million dollar robbery rightly stirs public wrath and the demand that the money be found and the culprits be punished. State Senate President Haven J. Barlow tells the Utah voters that Yet Americans with savings in banks and in life insurance w'ere robbed of 60 billion dollars last year because of inflation 60 billion dollars which does no one any good, which can never provide capital for new businesses and new jobs, 60 billion which can never assure independence for the old people who saved it, 60 billion which can never build homes for young people, nor gifts to schools and hospitals 60 evaporated Billions. Whos to blame? All governments, federal and local, who spend more than they take in; all agencies who waste your all bureaus more money on boondoggling and interested in saving their jobs than in saving this countrys solvency. And every American who wants more than he is willing to produce and pay for. Instead of writing your government to give you something, write them to save it. 8 or 10 of the 24 amendments of the Utah Constitution need to be revised. Who wants the Utah revised? McKinnon Smith Publication Manager Fears that the Gateway Amendment might result in creeping changes in the Utah State Constitution that would be harmful to the citizens interests are well founded. As a matter of fact the populace of the state should fear and oppose this method of constitutional change as they would oppose any frankly reported and publicly discussed step towards complete socialism. Acceptance of this Gateway Amendment would open the doors to a subtle but steady erosion of the constitutional provisions that protect the citizens in their constitutional rights. Our state constitution is a strong, protective document preventing those who would change and destroy it from going full speed ahead in seeking complete control over our lives, purses, and property. The people yho push this program were able to put on the ballot a few years ago eight amendments, which the voters turned down by a 3 to 1 vole.
