Page 4 Editorial Supplement to Beaver County Monitor Truth (Continued from page 3) obvious.) Hrnmm.....how about the city council? An accident? This body has served me well, but it is showing signs of age, wrinkles and sags; I don't think I would compromise my soul to hold onto it However, if . ..as you say.. . my house is worth two or three times as much as it was when I purchased it 5 years a go... during Milford's worst slump why not just buy me? Please note: agreeing to disagree is not synomous with relinquishing all controi....especiaIly under a cloud offear and threats. The petitions? Are they to be construed as meaning that Circle 4 will pick up their toys and leave if they don 't get their way? Beaver County may need Circle 4 Farms, but Circle 4 also needs Beaver County. Are they welcome to expand in North Carolina, Iowa, or any place else they have been? Who else is inviting them with open arms? The company has considerable investment here. The county has a 150 year heritage of honesty, intregity, high moral values, and dedicated work ethic what's that worth? Yes, Gary: The county DOES HA VE bargaining power.... at least until you gentlemen assume a debt the county can 't pay! Why do you think the Bible, Torah, Talmud, andyes...the Doctrine and Covenants all council against debt? Ideally, the company will choose to make Circle 4 Farms a standard of excellence throughout the industry, the county commissioners will opt for prudence, and we will all live happily ever after. The ball is in Circle 4's court Future play may not be much fun unless the company and the people of Beaver County share in the rule making! Whew..... I believe that I have just placed a pretty heavy bet that some folks will have enough backbone to stand up and salute the flag! Thank you so much for your letter, Renee. about qualms running it, I am very glad you great therapy! Although I first had some Clearing the air is such it. Thanks to the World Wide Web there are no secrets anymore: Don 't have a computer hooked to the Internet? The library does!
