When he arrived at Hill AFB from Travis AFB, Calif., a little more than a month ago he was anxious to see the sights outside the base. He bought himself a new ultra - lightweight bicycle and e started riding in his off-bas- free time so that he could learn the surrounding area. Troubles ensued with guards at the gates, however, and Airman Lortz took his problem to Security Police headquarters. The registration personnel decided that he was entitled to bumper stickers for his bike just as other base personnel are authorized decals for their motorcycles and automobiles. They issued the official passes and even laminated and affixed a special clamp for ease in mounting it on his two wheeler. And now, on weekends and in the evening, you may see the young Hill airman, legally e to take a pedaling one of of Utah's photo beautiful sunsets, or play the - LEGAL BICYCLIST Airman Paul D.
