I Bob Eklund of South Jordan, who has been living at the Lark hotpl the past two months, died suddenly Wednesday morning while eating his breakfast. The cause of his death was a blood clot. Mr. Eklund had worked in 'Lark since August 1947.. Seal motored to Salt Lake Friday to visit Mr. Seal's mother, Mary E. Seal at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dawson. They also visited vis-ited with his sister, Mrs. Ernest Davies of Murray. Five Hundred club met Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Feb. 2 at the home of Mrs. Edna Medley. A light luncheon lun-cheon was served after which five hundred was played. First prize was won by Mrs Betty Kiral, second and traveling prize went to Mrs. Olive Allinson. Others Oth-ers present were Mrs. Cecily Jackson, Mrs. Delta Turner, Mrs. Flossie Raper, Mrs. Virginia Mc-Carty, Mc-Carty, Mrs. Mary Gressman and Mrs. Elva Baum. Bert Thomas left by plane Tuesday for London, England, where he will visit with his mother mo-ther and brother. Mrs. A. P. Hemmingsen and daughter JoAnn have been visiting vis-iting the past few days with her mother, Mrs. Emma Hensen of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Maude Giles entertained Wednesday, Feb. 2 for members of tier bridge club. A light luncheon lun-cheon was served after which bridge was enjoyed.
