Show Academy Winner to Appear at Granite High School An Academy Award-winning actress will make a personal appearance ap-pearance in Salt Lake with a one-woman one-woman drama program on Thursday Thurs-day Feb. 28. Gale Sondergaard, whose performance per-formance as Faith in the motion pitcure Anthony Adverse won her the coveted Oscar, will appear under un-der the auspices of Granite Arts Association, at Granite High School. For the Salt Lake City audience, Miss Sondergaard has prepared an evening of dramatic climaxes from plays, using the theme, "Woman." Characters included will be Nora from Ibsen's A Doll's House, Fanny from Houghton's Hindle Wakes, Mariana from Sierra's Wife to a Famous 3Ian and Ellen from Cor-win's Cor-win's To Tim at Twenty. A versatile background of experience ex-perience in stock company shows, radio, Broadway productions, movies, summer theatre and road companies have quailificd Miss Sondergaard for the type of expression ex-pression she has chosen for her current tour. It has been said that Miss Sondergaard "brings to the past such modern interpretation as to make its plays seem like the Broadway hits of this week." Another, admirer says that . . .
