The most enjoyable eoclal event here this week was the teachers banqnet and entertainment given at the Bromley hotel by the teachers Thursday evening. The literary part of the program consisted of a song by Miss Cora Bromley; recitation by Mrs. Eliza Buck, waiter; toast by Trustee John R. Illnd-ieInstrumental music, Wm, Grant; y, duet, Mrs Julia Grant and Miss Cora Bromley: a tribute to01d Maids," Miss Laura Christensen; eeng Mrs. Vllate Clark; ehort speech, George F. Shelley; "A Tribute to Old Bachelors," C. G. Patterson, song, Mrs. Julia Grant; song, Allis Bromley; original poetry, Isaac L. Wright.
