Show SXSXSX5S5SSX55SX5 IOKA 2atSSXS Ted Johnson has employment in Roosevelt. Mrs. Johnson and their son, Ted, are making their home with Mr. Johnson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Johnson. Willis Lowry visited with Mr. and Mrs. Charrles Percivai Saturday evening. Mrs. Craig Caldwell will leave this week to join her husband at Fort Brag, North Carolina. Mrs. Caldwell is the former LaRae Faucett. We are glad to report that Clifford Bullarcl who has been in the Roosevelt hospital with a throat ailement, is sufficiently improved to be at home again. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Percivai and sons, Mark and Niel, of Provo spent Thanksgiving with' Mr. Percival's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percivai. They returned home Friday. Lucile and Florence Flor-ence Percivai accompanied them and will visit in Salt Lake. City before returning. Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Michie visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percivai Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Angus and daughter, Edna; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percivai and children and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Remund and 2 daughters of Duchesne were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook at Bluebell on Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Hal Johnson is visiting with his parents after working in Salt Lake City for several months. It is reported that Hal may go in to business in Roosevelt. Mrs. Eva Pcrsival visited Mrs. Enid Nelson Monday. Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Faggioli of Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with Mrs. Faggioli's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd and family. Paul Miles returned Wednesday Wednes-day after three years service in the Navy. Paul expects to receive his discharge December 21. Roy Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Anderson, received his discharge at Fort Douglas last week. Roy has served with the Infantry and has been in Germany Germ-any since the surrender. We also have been informed that Jessie Benson, son of M. J. Benson, has received a' discharge from the Marines. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Drollinger announce the engagment of their daughter, Pearl, to Kendall M. Workman, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Workman, of Springville. The wedding will be held in the Salt Lake Temple the first of next week. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Willis Loury and Paul Miles who have just returned re-turned from the Pacific where they have served the last three years, Airel Michie was also a speaker. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Stutzmeg-ger Stutzmeg-ger and children, Loya and Kit, of Tooele visited Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Gledhill last week. They returned home Sunday. Mrs. Stutzmegger is a sister of Mr. Gledhill. Mr. Stutzmegger was recently released from the army. Mrs. Zelma Lloyd spent the week end visiting her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell in Provo. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Lowry are ill with whooping whoop-ing cough. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miles entertained en-tertained on Thanksgiving with a turkey dinner for the following guests: Paul and Leo, two sons home on furlough, their daugh ter, Ora, who is attending school at Logan, Mr. andMrs. Eldwin Wall and daughter, Isabell, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson and sons, Kenneth Ken-neth and Maurice. Elva Johnson, Lester Vadoe, Ardell Johnson and Don Hudson of Salt Lake City spent the week end at the home of the girl's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Johnson. Several head of cattle have died recently with what is supposed sup-posed to be black leg. Some have vaccinated their cattle to prevent further loss. |
