In the coming weeks, we will research the history of the statues, where they are now and what, if anything, will replace the campus staples. In a possibly related story, the fiberglass bison statues from the Olympics recently went up for auction. Wright hopes that attending the film series will give people a broader canvas from which to paint their lives, a larger vocabulary, and ultimately make them the coolest people in the coffee shops on 4 south.
