In the coming weeks, we will research the history of the statues, where they are now and what, if anything, will replace the campus staples. In a possibly related story, the fiberglass bison statues from the Olympics recently went up for auction. Other films will be chosen based on the feel of the previous weeks film. Wright hopes that attending the film series will give people a broader canvas from which to paint their lives, a larger vocabulary, and ultimately make them the coolest people in the coffee shops on 4 south.
