Show FOUNTAIN GREEN By Special Correspondence ' M ss Irene Anderson and Miss Marian Hansen, members of tne Pep Club at Snow College, attended attend-ed the J. C. Basketball Games between be-tween th" Weber College and Snow at Ogden, Westminster and Snow at Salt Lake City during the week end. Lester and Vern Frands'-n of Ogden visited during the week with their par"nts, Mr. and Mrs. Antone Frandsen. Mrs. Nettie n.gli-r was hostess to her club members, a few friends and relatives, at a lunen-eon lunen-eon at her home Monday evening. The dance Saturday evening, honoring the boys leaving for selective service was a great success. suc-cess. The proceeds will go to obtain a remi-mberance for each one. Max Livingston and Collin Green left Wednesday, Feb. 2(Hh, Mallard Christiansen, Leo Mower, Cliff Anderson and K.dward Ab-red Ab-red will leave the first of March. Mr. anrl Mrs. P. C. Oldroyd have received word of the birlh of a grand son at Grand Junction, Colo. The parents are Mr. and Mis. Lawrence Sardoni, formerly of Fountain Green. Bertha Christiansen entertained enter-tained the Literary club members .it her home Wednesday afternoon, after-noon, the occasion being her b rtlulay anniversary. Mrs. Velma Christensen was hostess to the Klever Kraft Klub . members at her home Thursdny . evening.
