The high school Jetettes have had two very successful dances since the beginning of the schools year. Both have been sock hops. The first dance had the attraction of prizes to bring the gang out to the dance. Winning prizes for the best couple socks were Geri Ann Follet and Bruce Wallis; Nancy Jackson won the prize for the most original socks. An added attraction was a jitterbug contest. Ned Fox and Darla Pectol finally walked away with that prize Mary Ann Rebers patio was the scene for the opening FBLA party Monday night. The party lasted from to nine oclock. A group of people dressed rather strangely gathered at the college recreation area on Monday evening. Some were diessed in straw hats and beach oombers, some in and some, well, some were in indescribable garbs. The bunch jumped into cars and made the scenic drive down main street, across a bridge, up a hill, turned right, then left at the first gate, left again and climbed out at the end of the road. The natives then went in search of the river. There were no casualties in crossing. Second obstacle was forming a safari to conquer the tamaracks. The foilage at last broke onto a sandy bank and a splendid sight for a Luau. Leis were issued at a little grass shack.
