Show JL SPANISH FORK, UTAH, THURSDAY,' MARCH 26th, 1925 VOLUME XXIV Dies Just Seven Weeks Scouts to Take Trip To Bryce Canyon After Twin Brother Just seven weeks from the time that her twin brother Myron died, Miss Maud Ellison died Sunday at the home.of her grandfather, George A. Hicks, with whom her mother, Mrs. Fannie Ellison, makes her home. The young woman has been In feeble health for some years. She suffered an injury to one of her legs about seven years ago and an affection of the bone developed, this is believed to have caused a general poisoning of the system. She was born here December 19, 1907. She has always lived here except for a short period that the family lived in Idaho. She is the fifth child her widowed mother has burled out of a family of eight. She is survived by one brother, Donald Ellison of Blackfoot, Idaho and two sisters, Mrs. Lorenzo Black, of Blackfoot, Idaho, and one siBter, Mrs. Hazel Jeppson, of Salt Lake. Her aged grandfather, George A. Hicks and her mother, also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday aftrenoon at 2 oclock at the 3rd ward chapel, Bishop Ralph D. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Interment was in the Spanish Fork , The advanced Scouts of the Tim- t panogos Council are to take another trip through central Utah to Bryce canyon and back. This trip will be taken through the historic battle grounds of the state where stories will be told of the early pioneer experiences of the people of this state. Scouts who took the trip last year found the Journey going and coming to be as interesting as the canyon itself. The detailed itinerary of the trip will be announced at a later date. The trip is to be taken by First Class Scouts who have qualified for first class rank between March 1 and May 20 and for first class scouts who have received five merit badges between the two dates mentioned. Boy Scout officials as well as dads of scouts will also make, the trip If they desire to do so. Each community is to provide its own transportation for its boys; each boy will furnish and cook his own food. The member of the Spanish Fork Kiwanls Club unanimously adopted a resolution favoring a more rigid censorship of motion pictures, placing themselves on record for the movement for clean pictures at their regular meeting held last Thursday evening at the Cottam Cafe. A committee from the Provo Kiwanls Club waited on the members of the local club and asked them to sponsor the movement. The committee Included: Alex Hedqulst, Bishop J. A. Buttle and Attorney J. W, Robinson of Provo. F. M. Orem of Salt Lake, extended greetings from the Salt Lake Kiwanls Club to the members here and made a short speech.
