Show CORRESPONDENCE )S9SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS3SSSSi VI PINE VALLEY Sept. 21, 1903. A beautiful baby girl matTe her advent into the home of Mr. and Mrs Nathaniel Gardner. All is well. Mrs. Maud Corry, formerly one of our most charming young ladies, also presented her husband with a baby girl a short time ago. Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Gardner and family, and Mr. and Mrs. B. II. Burgess and family, will move to Dixie for the winter season, while O. H. Bracken and family go to Cedar. It has been freezing here in varying degrees of intensity for about two weeks. Some oats were injured, and corn, potatoes, beans, etc., were killed. Fortunately the potatoes were so nearly ripe that no serious damage was done them. The beans and cucumbers, however, were ruined. There has been a great depletion in our population the past week, owiug to the fact that our students are returning to school. In addition to fourteen high ' students, most of whom will attend the Branch Normal in Cedar, several families are moving away for the season in order to get their smaller children in better equipped schools where they can attend a longer term. school ' ifff 'MARKET 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 $ .
