I was in Richmond the night before helping a fanner bum off part of his field wfaenj moved a pile of clothes and equipment from one car to another Sometime diving die move I guess I left my wallet on top of my car — where it remained at least for a few moments after I drove Rich-mood-’s off I frantically searched die street and gutters looking fra any sign of the wallet At the same time I drew nylon ' a mental picture of each item that had to be replaced if I couldn't find the wallet: driver's license credit card ATM card check book the list got longer the more I thought about it And my anxiety level increased too It didn't take long for despair and depression to set in as I realized that it could be years before someone would stumble across my wallet and if they nately the starter is still cranking like could find me return it it's supposed to The drive home was long and quiet A few more months passed and my I immediately called my credit card life was back to normal or at least as normal as it was before I lost my wacompany and started die dreadful llet Then I got a phone call process of replacing everything Unfortunately I didn’t have an ordinary waA Utah Department early enough before card ami a new checking account I work I'll take the cash that was still in even bought a new wallet to keep diem the wallet and buy that UDOT crew a all in — die same kind of wallet that I couple dozen doughnuts w something had before I guess I didn't learn my I am grateful that they found it But lesson as I looked at the pile of cards receipts I still cringed ooce in a while when I checks and other stuff that had piled up remembered something I needed in die in that old wallet they didn't seem as lost wallet bke a receipt fra the starter important as they were when
