The panels are blue in color, about 20 by 57 inches in size, and encased in 1.5-inch aluminum frames. . Anyone with information regarding the theft of these panels should contact Forest Service Special Agent Charlie Vaughn in St. George at (435) 652-3119. Callers may remain anonymous. The Forest Service is willing to pay a- reward for credible information. The theft of the solar panels significantly affects the station employees'comfort and productivity. The station does not have access to commercial electric power, and relies on other power sources, including solar energy. The loss of the panels has deprived the station of running water. VOTE KEN PLATT GARFIELD COUNTY Where I Stand for Our Schools: Education is important for all children — we must provide the best education we can for our future leaders. Parental involvement is essential to ensure that students maximize their learning experience. Your Children Your School Board Your Candidate! Our students need to be prepared to go forward with their lives following graduation. Representatives of the people must listen to the people and be willing to work with them to find common solutions • We need to assure that they are ready should they choose to further their education at a college, university, or a trade or technical school. An elected official needs to be accessible and available to the people lie or she represents. • Some may choose to enter a branch of the military. Their education in our schools must prepare them. As your school board member I will always be willing to listen and discuss any issue pertaining to education that concerns you and your family. • Others may choose to go directly into the workforce. They must be no less prepared. "300 million Americans is an historic achievement for our country," said Governor Huntsman. The Utah Population Estimates Committee (UPEC) reported that the State's population exceeded 2.5 million for the first time in 2005. "Utah continues to be on the same strong growth track it has experienced for several years," said Robert Spendlove, Chair of the Population Estimates Committee. "We expect this level of growth to continue this year and into the future." According to the Census Bureau, Utah's population growth is the fifth fastest in the nation. Utah's large population growth rate is due to its strong economy and its unique demographics. Utah's job growth is among the highest in the nation currently and the state's unemployment rate is among the lowest in the nation. Additionally, compared to the rest of the nation, Utah has the highest fertility rate, lowest median age, highest household size, and third highest life expectancy. UPEC's population estimates for 2005 are available on the DEA website and www.governor.utah.gov/dea. New estimates for the' state will also be released next month at the same website.
