Show and Mrs. John Carter and fam-r. fam-r. Murray, spent the weekend with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Mauss Mar-.hall Mar-.hall Troy and Robin visited Mrs. Marshall's mother in Murray Mur-ray over the weekend. They also visited with their son Ar-lan Ar-lan and granddaughter Rana Sunday they stopped in Sutherland Su-therland to see their new granddaughter blessed. I ' 1 i1"' f i Ll-.,. rwdL 4 - MINERSVILLE The Am-arican Legion Auxiliary Auxi-liary entertained the American Legion at a Birthday Banquet Saturday, Feb. 5th, at the Minersville Min-ersville Ward Church. A delicious delic-ious roast beef dinner was served by the committee, Daisy Gillins and Theone Mosher. A program was presented by teen-ap-srs of the Legion members. A family birthday dinner was held Monday, Feb. 7th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunt, Cedar City, in honor of Karl Truman, Clintori Hunt, Fay Marshall and the 81st birthday of their mother, Mrs. Effie Marshall. Family' members present were, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman, Mr and Mrs. Walt Messinger, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Knight, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Marshall, Mr. Jeff Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Marshall ard Mrs. Effie Marshall. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman over the weekend were their children, chil-dren, Annette, student at USU, Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Larson, Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall are in Salt Lake where Mrs. Marshall is receiving Medical attention. Hayward and Edith Marshall are the parents of a faby girl born Thursday. Jan. 27th in Cedar City. Students from as far away as New York City were competing for five University Club Scholarships worth $5,000 each.
