Show IRISH CONVENTION ADJOURNS TO AUG. 21 DUBLIN", Aug. 9. The Irish convention, conven-tion, after sitting for several hours today, adjourned until August 21. LONDON". Aug. 9. The official report issued tonight concerning the Irish convention con-vention gives the names of the standing committee which the convention ratified. The names include Viscount Midleton, Lord MaoDonneil, Joseph Devlin, member of parliament for Londonderry, and Stephen Ste-phen L. Gwynn, member of parliament for Gal way ; the mayors of Dublin, Belfast. Bel-fast. Londonderry and Cork, and the archbishops of Dublin and Cashel. Invitations conveyed by their respective mayors from citizens of Belfast and Cork that the convention hold sittings in those cities were unanimously accepted. The sitting in Belfast will take place in September Sep-tember and at Cork on a date yet to be decided. |
