Show bounteous farm crops go to feed live stock that live stock feeding Is being depended upon this winter to a greater extent than in any recent year for the profitable disposal of bounteous farm crops Is indicated by the increasing number of feeder stock purchased cooperatively by ohio farmers figures compiled by the ohio live stock cooperative association show that up to december 1 a total of over head of feeder cattle lambs and pigs bad been delivered to farmers in the state through the two co operative feeder auctions at east toledo and columbus together with carload lots through the county associations this total included 18 cattle and cales 1059 lambs and 1921 pigs which compares with the saco cattle pigs and 2400 lambs purchased during the drouth year of 1930 and the cattle pigs and lambs handled during the previous record year of 1929 approximately CO per cent of ahe cattle and lambs purchased operatively cooperatively co this year viere financed through the organization ohio farmer |
