Gleason Listed Dead Bv Investigators Captain John J. Gleason has been officially listed as dead after an investigation by military authorities. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Gleason, of Garland. Returning prisoners of war have been interrogated, and information indicates that he died July 10, 1951 in Korea, while in hands of opposing forces. His death resulted from received in nn aerial attack. He was taken prisoner on Feb. 12. 1951. Capt. Gleason is survived'by his wife, Helen Hayes Gleason, two daughters, Gill and Jcrre Lynn, and his parents, and eight brothers and sisters. By starting a new subscription, sending a gift subscription, or renewing the LEADER for another year, readers can contribute to the fund needed to send the choir to Chicago. For each new or gift subscription started between March 5 and March 25, the regular yearly rate of $3 will be collected. The publishers will turn half of the amount, $1.50 over to the choir's finance committee. For each years renewed subscription paid during this period, the regular charge of $3 will be made. Of this amount SI will be turned over to the committee.
