Show TIGERS AND BEAVERS TO CLASH AT BEAVER FIELD AT 1 P. M. FRIDAY The Milford Tigers and the Beaver Beavers, traditional rivals in school sports, meet on the Beaver turf at 1 p. m. Friday in THE football game of the year, so far as Beaver County is concerned. Milford fans, who have been seeking a victory over Beaver for many years, are confident that "this is the year," placing their hopes on a heavy Milford line and a fast backfield. Beaver Beav-er is admittedly "building," with a team made up largely of sophomores and juniors. However, no "dope" can ever be accepted in a Milford-Beaver game, and the Friday clash is certain to be a thriller, with both squads going all-out to defeat de-feat their traditional rivals. Neither squad has won a conference con-ference game this year, Beaver losing to Dixie and Parowan, and Milford bowing to Hurricane Hurri-cane and Dixie. |
