Show Good Reports From Snake River. Billy Rabjohn arrived on the train today to-day from his Snake River placers, a mile or so above Salmon Falls, says the Hailey Inter-Idaho, of the 14th. He says that himself and Nick Paul have got one gold-saving gold-saving machine in place, their ditch , dug, a run or two made, and he (Billy) is up to sell his dust. Within a few miles of where Billy and Nick are located are the claims of C. B. Fox and Major Schenck, Dick Hambly and Al. Oostner, "Bris.," Matt. Haney, Mitchell & Hennecky, and others well known in Hailey. He reports that Hunt's claim is paying well this winter; also, the New York company are lungmg right ahead, and are very well pleased with this year's work. Rabjohn says it's live or die with the Snake rjver placers from this date on, and puts him in mind of the davs of old, the days of gold, and the days of '49. He will return re-turn in a few davs. |
