Show . Striking Brakemen. Chicago, November 13. The striking brakemen on the Illinois Central Bailroad have been joined by the conductors, and no freight whatever is moving on the road. A train was started out this afternoon in oharge of the division superintendent. The strikers boarded it, took full possession, and it is reported side-tracked it at Forty-thjrd street. , . . The Becond train was started out about 2 p. m., but got no further than Forty-third street, where it was sidetracked by the strikers, as was the first one. As far as "known, no violence was used. At 3 p. m. Superintendent Beck telegraphed to the chief of Hyde Park police to send a detail of men to move trains. |
