Show At the Opera flonse. j There was a splendid attendance at the Walker Opera House last night to see the Minstrels in their third performance. As on the previous night, the show was first-class, first-class, and thoroughly, enjoyed by the auditors: 1 The neatest acts were the Cragg family's acrobatic feats, and the Pythian Knights dress "parade. It is safe to say that it is .many a dav since a more artistic !jtnd pretfier thing has been seen than this Jast mentioned piece. It was well done, and Mr. J. Gorman, the inventor, ia entitled en-titled to great credit for the originality of it. .. -. The Minstrels go East from here. The company has done a good business during this engagement, which not only shows that "black face" entertainments are not wanine, but that whenever there is a first rate company at the Walker Opera House, the public will patronize the place, without with-out preference for the other house. |
