The four story frame structure, No. 44 Morris street, and a two-story rookery, fell this morning at 11:16 and buried in the debris at least a half-dozen half-dozen persons. The building was condemned con-demned by the Board of. Aldermen several months ago, and was unoccupied. Boys and girls were engaged in tearing the structure I down when it fell. Mary Schenzy, aged 8 years, was killed outright; Maggie Smith, aged 7 years, had several ribs broken. The building is a complete wreck. THE OBOANS OF THE DYING Can be heard above the hum of voices and the noise of the workmen. The fire department depart-ment has been called out and is assisting the ' laborers in removing the debris. Policeman Pinlay was at his post when the accident happened, and he states that at least a dozen women, boys and girls were running in and out of the building all the morning, carrying away wood.
