Show AN INJURED HUSBAND He Threatens to Do Up the Whole Neighborhood In the Police Court today Fred Reihr man pleaded not guilty to a charge of disturbance and his case occupied the principal part of the morning and was adjourned until 2 p m It appeaped from the testimony given that some one had called the defendants wife a woman of bad character and that this fact so aroused Mr R he walked into his house with a pistol in his hand and declared that he would shoot the man who made the insinuation His wife and the ladies of the immediate neighborhood became so terrified at the actions and threats of Mr R that they telephoned to the police station for assistance It was also learned that he frequently got drunk and created considerable excitement in his home A move was made by Mr Rs lawyer law-yer to discharge the defendant on the gound that the disturbance was created cre-ated in his own house and that it was brought about by his desire to find out who the man was that dared insult his wife The motion was overruled however how-ever and the court adjourned until 2pm |
