Show mrs mollie webber passes on suddenly friends of mrs mollie webber were shocked chocked on tuesday morning to learn of her passing durin during g i the early morning hours due to a heart attack I 1 I 1 alth ugh mrs webber was not I 1 in good health during the past i few months she was as interested 1 in her home and garden as ever and took the best bast care of them she was a devoted mother and until a few years ago served the people of the community as a practical nurse going wherever she was needed to administer to the sick and to do whatever was necessary to do in the homes to which she went 1 she leaves to mourn her passing her son albert reed born of a first marriage and another son leonard webber 0 f tacoma washington funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the church w with ith bishop L frank redd in charge although mrs webber was not a member of the church she was loved by everyone in the community and the church members were among the first to respond when the hour of need arrived the speakers were C R christensen H lloyd hansen and bishop L frank redd each one spoke of the useful life led by mrs webber and paid tribute to her f for or the many hours of service she gave whenever called upon musical numbers by the choir and a solo fae face to face tv bl fletcher bronson added to the sacredness of the occasion A trio composed of younger women of the church led by afton barton sang at the graveside the red cross committee took charge of the flowers of which there were many burial was made in the monticello cemetery mollie webber was born in baltimore md in april 1862 and reached the age of 82 last april she spent her early life in the middle west living for a time in oklahoma mrs webber came to monticello shortly after the first world war and lived for a while in a small cabin on what is called the flats in the western part of town up near the power house moving to summit point she took up residence there until about ten years ago finally purchasing the elwyn blake house on center street which was remodeled and became one of the most at attractive homes in town in which she and her son albert took great pride |
